Noah's head

All essays on Vegetus.org were written by Noah Lewis, an able-bodied white male middle-class city slicker from the US.

My picture is on the left, so please say "hey, I know you--you're the bee freak!" if you see me on the street. (I'm still totally waiting for this to happen. Seriously. Help make my dream come true.)

I have a BS in Chemistry and a BA in the History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Pittsburgh. And although the Dean cringes everytime she hears me say it, I also have a JD from Harvard Law School. Why law school? Coursework does not involve glassware or possible chemical burns.

Active in policy debate for many years, I learned my research and argumentation skills long before attending law school--no need to blame the lawyers, of which I am not one, just to clarify.

I have worked with various animal rights groups over the years. Although vegetarian since 1991 and vegan since 1996, I take B12 supplements and eat flax oil, so you cannot attribute any insanity to that--it's purely from all of the broken mercury thermometers.

I enjoy research and writing, and I would like to write books and essays on animal rights full-time. If you want to support my work with a token of appreciation, that is most welcome.
